Sep. 20th, 2012 - Planned System Reboot
The Office of Information Services will reboot various equipment across campus. This process will take about 20 minutes. You may experience slight disruption to internet access and some College systems during this time.
Jun. 11th, 2012 - Blackboard Issues
Please note that the Elmhurst College Blackboard system has had several issues including the inability to access tests, quizzes or surveys within your course. We have been working with Blackboard and believe the issues have been resolved.
May 29th, 2012 - Planned Blackboard Outage
On Tuesday, May 29th, 2012, from 7am to 9am, Blackboard will be down for maintenance.
Mar. 20th, 2012 - Expected Email Server Outage
The College's Exchange email system server will be updated on Tuesday, March 20th, between 7pm and 8pm. Only the server is being updated and not the email system. Please note that no disruption to the email system is expected but you may experience a brief outage while the servers are rebooted.
Feb. 28th, 2012 - Elmhurst College Homepage Issues
We are currently experiencing intermittent problems accessing the College main webpages. These webpages are hosted externally by an outside vendor, and we are working with them to resolve this problem.
If your browser’s main page is http://www.elmhurst.edu/ or you are attempting to access the College's website, you may get an error that the page is unable to load, and it would appear that the internet is down. Please be assured that the internet is up and running. The problem is the sporadic availability of these pages. You are able to get to other webpages by typing in a web address. To access some of the Campus' resources you can go directly to any of the following addresses. Do not type in "www" before the addresses.
Feb. 6th, 2012 - Planned Internet Outage
On Monday, Feb. 6th, 2012, at 7:30am, internet access will be unavailable for approximately 10 minutes.
Dec. 29th, 2011- Scheduled Outage
There will be a Commonwealth Edison scheduled electrical outage on Dec. 29, 2011. This outage will require the BlueNet system to be down from 10:00 pm on Dec. 28, 2011 thru 6:00 pm on Dec. 29, 2011. We apologize for the inconvenience and will attempt to bring the systems back up sooner if notified by Commonwealth Edison that all electrical work has been completed and the power is stable.
