Beginning on October 1, Google Apps accounts will no longer be used for e-mail, contacts, and calendars. These services will be disabled, as the primary system for student, faculty, and staff collaboration is Office 365. Google Drive, Classrooms, and Sites will remain available for use as academic tools, and will still be accessible by signing in directly at www.google.com
. Additionally, you will need to submit a request to email@example.com
to keep your account active. If you do not submit a request by October 1, your account will be disabled.
Should you need assistance with migrating e-mail, contacts, and calendars from the Google Apps system to Office 365, we have made documentation available on the pages listed below. The Help Desk is also available to personally assist with migrations if additional support is required.
You may also elect to use forwarding, so that e-mail sent to your Google Apps address after October 1 will be delivered to your Office 365 account. To set up forwarding, please submit a request to firstname.lastname@example.org
